Plainly said
Terms of Use
The agreement between us, without the fog. Short version: be honest, be kind, and understand what this app is and is not.
What Identity Code is
A Christian companion app that writes words of blessing, encouragement, and prayer over people by name, drawing on patterns counted from names and birth dates and grounded in the Bible. The personalized writing is generated by AI within guardrails we wrote by hand — and we tell you so rather than have you find out.
What it is not
It is not prophecy, prediction, or a claim to speak for God. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for any of those professions — or for Scripture, prayer, and your own church, which come first and always will. Nothing in the app establishes a pastoral relationship.
Your account
Keep your password safe; what happens under your sign-in is yours. Provide your own real details — the writing is only as true as its inputs. You must be 16 or older to hold an account.
Acceptable use
Use the app for what it is for. Do not use it to harass anyone, to impersonate anyone, to generate content about a person who would object, or to probe, scrape, or overload the service. Gift blessings are for blessing real people you actually intend to encourage.
Your content and ours
What you write in the app stays yours. The blessings and prayers generated for you are yours to keep, print, and share personally. The app’s own design, name, and content pools are ours; please don’t republish them as a product.
The service
Identity Code is young and offered as-is: we work to keep it fast, available, and correct, and we do not promise perfection. Generated text can err — check everything against Scripture. We may change or retire features as the product grows; if we ever retire something you rely on, your saved library remains yours to export.
Liability, plainly
To the fullest extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before a claim (during the free beta: nothing). Nothing here limits what cannot lawfully be limited.
The formalities
These terms will carry an effective date, the operating entity, and governing law at public launch. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Questions are welcome and answered in plain English.
